The year I turned 18, it was 1983, and I was a senior in high school ready to get the hell out! Here are the top 15 songs of that year. Some I loved, and some I hated. And some I have never even heard of.

2. Come On Eileen - Dexy’s Midnight Runners (Loved it,and I still listen to it this day)

12. Kiss The Bride - Elton John (What is this song? Never heard of it)
13. Let’s Go Dancin’ (Ooh La, la, La) - Kool and the Gang (Good rollerskating song)

It just seems that every movie that is about gay people, they play this song in it, jokingly of course ![]()
The Modern English song is an absolute classic. It is definitely on my top-25 list most played on iTunes.

Come on Eileen is one of my favorite songs too. I liked the Save Ferris version, but I like the original better.
