Speaking of mailboxes, we have the most rusted out ugly one on the street. Some of our neighbors have really nice residential mailboxes that are all decked out. One neighbor has one that look like a birdhouse, and then another is a mailbox on a cactus, making it look like a part of the plant.

At my old house we had a central location where the commercial mailboxes were located. I actually like those better, as they required a key. I always felt safer with that type of mailbox. There isn’t much I can do to change the one we have because we are renters, but it does look really bad. Maybe I should buy a can of Rustoleum, and give it a paint job.
