Okay, my wart, which “doesn’t appear to be a wart” is gone. OMG, it’s gone, but did that sucker hurt! He shot me with lidocaine that just hurt like hell going into my hand, then cut the thing off, and put it in a jar, then used a laser to cauterize the skin. The thought of it, the knife, the smells, OMG, it was just so gross on so many levels. He will call me in a week if it’s anything to worry about.
On to the hospital where I got all admitted, after 4 hours of sitting around in between paperwork and test. I had a little anxiety in there, but not too bad. There was a little girl that just turned two that is having surgery on Wednesday also. She was so cute, but the minute she had to go in to get her blood work, and all her test done, she wailed for a good 30 minutes straight. I made a crack in the waiting room, by saying that being a kid is cool, because you get to say and act how you really feel. I made the whole room laugh.

You’ve got my sympathy, Julie-Nathan, my 8 year old son, has a whole knee FULL of warts, like 16 of them. We’ve been going to the dermatologist to have this blistering agent painted on them, but the next step is the freezing treatment. Nathan is so scared of it, the Doctor is going to give him a Valium first. So yeah, owie!
