I had my pre-op appointment yesterday. Everything went well, and I got all my papers that I need to fill out and take to the hospital, along with my blood work orders that needs to be completed within 72 hours of my surgery, so I think I will do that on Monday after my dermatologist appointment. So much doctor stuff going on!
My doctor asked how I was doing, and I told him I was anxious and ready to get this done, but that I had a cyst that was bothering me again, and making is hard to sleep on my left side. So he checked it, and it was a big one, 5cm, and decided to aspirate it while I was there.
This is the third time I have had this done, but this time it was awful, and I mean just awful. He had to keep shooting me with more lidocaine, because every time he stuck the needle in, and start squeezing the cyst, I would just bawl it hurt so bad. I came home a mess, and took as many Tylenol as the bottle said I could and went to sleep.
Today, I feel better enough to be up and at my desk working, thank god. With that pain, I thought I was dying there for awhile. LOL! I’ve been looking for some type of side table that is larger than my end table that I have next to my bed. I think I found something similar to what I need that is made by the company Studio RTA Furniture. If I’m going to be living in my bed for 4 weeks, it needs to be comfortable.
