I have an old band that I still follow but I haven’t talked about them in a long time, the Goo Goo Dolls. I have traveled all over the US to see them, and have met some life long friends by doing so. The last few times I have saw them in concert have been when they come to Las Vegas. I just don’t have the time, energy, or the money to travel like I use to. When my radio alarm went off this morning, the DJ was talking about them coming to town again, and where to buy the concert tickets. Normally this news would have made me go crazy, but this time nothing. I don’t even care if I go or not. It’s weird how our lives can change so much.

I was a big fan of the Goo Goo Dolls for a couple reasons. I thought they were musically very good. My favorites songs were probably ‘Someday’ and ‘Long Way Down’ and ‘A Million Miles Away.’

I did see them live in Vegas back in 96, I think. They were at the Joint in the Hard Rock. It was great. The other reason I like them is because they have a fat guy in the band and us fat guys gotta support each other. I feel ya, Robbie! (I think he’s Robbie.) They hide him in all the videos though and give Rzenik ALL the fact time.
