We went out shopping today and please someone we need a couple loans now! We spent way too much money than we should have, and a personal loan would come in real handy right now.

But no really, we bought things we needed, we just haven’t been able to stock up lately, but Michael got paid, and my Paypal account is so sweet right now, that we figured now was the time. We went to Trader Joe’s and got all the nuts, dried fruit, my organic bread that I am addicted to, and the black cherry juice that Michael loves. About that time I knew we were in the need of a secured loan, but we kept going. Next stop sushi for lunch. Who spends $40 bucks for lunch? UGH! It was good though.

Then the dreaded Walmart. I ran out of laundry soap, dishwasher soap, the little scruby things that go on my toilet brush, Swiffers, Dawn, and all that stuff that seems to run out at the same time. And everyone knows the cheapest place to buy these kind of products in the Walmart hell store, so we had no choice.

Once we found a place to park, we sat in the car, almost as if to psych ourselves into a state where we could go in there with no homicidal thoughts. It worked! I actually was happy in a that store for a change! I just smiled and strolled my way through the store. It was amazing what a little zen psych can do for a person.

I shopped and shopped until my cart was overflowing, and I was even sucked into their latest Pirates of the Caribbean promotional items. I got myself a pajama set; a black tank, and melon colored booty shorts, with the movie logo on them. So cute! I also bought two pair of pajama shorts that read “Pirate Booty” across the, you guessed it, the booty. Now where’s that debt consolidation loan I was asking for before?

Yes, Walmart is evil, a guilty pleasure. I tried to resist its lure and was successful for many years. That’s mainly because there was no Walmart anywhere near me. Like Ikea (which I love), I could not shop at Walmart because without a car, it would take half a day (OK, over an hour, anyway) to get there.

But now there is a Walmart RIGHT UP THE ROAD FROM ME. Where I bought a 4-slice toaster for $15, and a Melitta expresso maker for $35. HALP!!!!

Also? Yesterday I spent $600 on summer clothes. (Not at Walmart.)

So, yeah, a loan would be good right about now.

Don’t forget Target. I get sucked in and buy clothes!

I spent $300 on shoes yesterday. I also feel that a loan would help my situation right now, but alas, no credit agencies offer loans JUST for shoes. :( Perhaps next weekend I will have to cancel my trip to Fashion Square. I think I have already blown my shopping budget for the month.
