I got Justin’s appointment with the Pediatric Gastroenterologist for May 8th. I need to bring the X-rays with me, so hopefully I will remember to pick those up. He’s home from school again today, as he woke up in agony again…sigh. I called his school, and they are having the teachers gather up his homework for me to pick up this afternoon. Hopefully this weekend he can get all the makeup work done.
I have something embarrassing to share also. I have a wart on top of my right hand. I have never in my life had a wart before, and I just hate saying that word for some reason. It sounds so gross. Anyway, on May 7th I’m having that sucker frozen off. No more witchy woman jokes from the man.
And my surgery is on the 9th, so that week is nice and filled up with “other” things to do besides sitting around and worrying. Perfect!

Why not just go buy the wart freeze off remover they sell? You can get it at any pharmacy. It’s way cheaper than a doctor.

I already checked that route. My doctor charges me a $10 co-payment. The medicine was $18 at the store ![]()

Good luck on getting it removed. I cringe every time I hear of any medical procedure being done and I feel your pain.

{{{{{{{{{Julie & Justin}}}}}}}}}}} Poor mama and poor boy!! I know my mom first got her ulcers in high school… What a bummer!
I had one of those ‘w’ words on my foot once - I totally know what you mean about even saying the word - ick! The doc took care of it - can’t remember if it was a freeze or a burn…

Lisa - the Dermatologist nurse told me on the phone there are several methods to get rid of them. I said, I don’t care what method you use, I just want to walk out of the office without it! LOL!
