Okay, I’m good to go. I had another exam just to make sure everything was okay to have the TVH, and I’m ready and he’s ready. Once he gets going he may need to use a laparoscope, but that will be determined at the time. I’m having the regional block that is going to numb me from the waist down, but I’m still going to be sedated because I am a nervous type of girl. I’m just not going to wake up in pain. In fact, I will feel none for up to 2 days! He’s going to give me a Valium as well, before they stick the giant needle in my spine, OWIE!
So we wrapped it up in the exam room, and got ready to go see the scheduling lady, and she called in sick and wasn’t there, so I’m waiting again for her to call me tomorrow to schedule the surgery. But the good news is, my doctor told me I should be in and out of the hospital by Cinco De Mayo. Ole!

Can I have some of those drugs around say . . . June 25th? LOL Actually, the needle they use to numb the area hurts worse than the one they actually give you to numb the pain.
