IBackup.com Have you ever had that sinking feeling when your hard drive fails, and you realize you have just lost everything from the past 4 years? Oh I’ve been there once, and only once. I learned the hard way and started using other backup solutions like online storage. I was searching today for an online backup company and I came across ibackup.com. They are really geared more towards business users than PC users, but what makes them so ideal for small businesses is you can schedule regular online backups for all your Windows based machines in your entire office. The software resembles Windows Explorer, and allows to do scheduling and logging very easily. They have also won editor’s choice awards in PCWorld and PCMag, so you know they’ve been fully tested. Check them out and see if this is an option for your small business data backups.

I’ve actually never given any real consideration to online data backup. I dunno, something about not physically having the data with me is just a bit frightening. I am a firm believer of backing up data, though, as I too have lost some stuff in the past. I now back stuff up on different formats. DVD disc, extra hard drive and more recently, a Western Digital My Book… so I think im covered now :)
