I have been looking for a better lighting solution for my living room forever. I use to have the most gorgeous ceramic lamp that I paid way too much for, but it was well worth it at the time. I loved how it lite up the room, and it was just perfect. What? Do you think one of the kids broke it? No, not one of the kids, Michael, during his birthday celebration almost 3 years ago now. And just because it was his birthday, I let it do that day, but I have mentioned it to him about 300 times since.

He’s into the fine art lamps that are ornate in style, but that just doesn’t suit me like the kichler types of lights do. My ideal light for that room would be the exact one that I use to have, but I doubt I will ever run across that again, and even if I did, I couldn’t afford to buy it. Until then, I will continue to look for something.
