Heh! I cheated and found the answer at flikr, lol. I thought it kinda, sorta looked like the diffuser for my hair dryer, though I couldn’t quite figure out why it was where it was.

Ok, this is gonna sound crazy, but, with the sun streaming in my office window messing up the view, and this bad video card of mine messing up my view - it looked like one of those big gas masks sitting on top of your monitor…hahaha!!
