JanSport 8000 Meter Challenge

Michael just called me from his training hike tonight, and he is dying trying to climb the 5,080 foot peak trail at Black Mountain. Poor guy :( He use to be in such great shape and was a cross country runner. I have complete faith in him that he will be completely ready when he goes to do the JanSport 8000 Meter Challenge.

I completed the Challenge in ‘07 but did not find any detailed info on it, other than Micheal’s general description. So, I wrote a blog ( http://ratheroutthanin.blogspot.com/ ) of my own to help preparing others. I hope you don’t mind the shameless plug.
