Okay, today is the day I am going to be coloring my hair with that Garnier 100% Mahogany Red Brown I bought. I have two tattoos. If you don’t see me back here just assume that I had an allergic reaction and I am in the hospital.

Garnier Hair Color

I really think they need to specify, neck tattoos, scalp tattoos, ears, forehead, etc. My lower back and ankle should surely survive, right?

That is such a strange warning, we should write them a letter and ask them what happens LOL

I have also dyed my hair and have never seen that warning. How funny!

It actually happens! I never had issues until about my 4th tattoo and then I was suddenly allergic to hair dye. I had been coloring my hair since I was about 14. Now my skin breaks out and itches for at least two weeks if I try it. It’s not only where I have tattoos either. So it’s only highlights for me now. :(

Heck, I’ve had two tattoos for years, and colored my hair for years…no problem yet! Funny warning!

Getting a tattoo involves more then deciding the size, color and location of the tattoo. Tattoo safety should be the main concern of the the tattoo parlor for the customer and the tattoo artist as well.
