They just opened a Java Detour across from the high school. They sent out a promotional flyer in the mail to get a $10 gift card just by giving them your email address. I figured what the hell, $10 is $10 bucks right?

So we went and I got my gift card. I got a black and white mocha, and Justin got an Oreo Cookie Latte. My black and white mocha was not so bad, but just not as tasty as my Starbucks. Justin loved the Oreo Cookie Latte, so I he’ll be going back for that. I just gave him my gift card to put in his wallet. I don’t need to try them again.

Searching for anything local always leads to disappointment. I always end up on some sort of review site that doesn’t really give me much information. If I’m searching online for a local business it’s because I want their address or phone number normally. How hard is it to just get that information? Oh it’s maddening I tell you! I would like a one stop shop kind of local marketing website where I could find all the details out about the restaurant we want to try tonight, or the phone number to call the mechanic to see if I can get in for an oil change. I loathe that big bulky yellow page book. Can you just imagine how large it is for Las Vegas? BLAH! Hate it! Give me online searching anyday!

A geek, and a camper! What’s not to like about Chris at Lubyvision.com? He loves to camp, and is in fact a director of camp Lone Hallow in the Texas Hill country. Can you say gorgeous?? Oh the place is fantastic looking!
