Well of course I am Supergirl! I found this quiz on Talkupation.info and I just had to do it. Even our good friend Michael over at TechCrunch took the quiz. He was the Green Lantern. It’s a perfect match for him, so I’m going to say that Supergirl is the perfect match for me.

I can’t get this table to work right at all :(

We’re going to Orlando next year. We’re not sure when, but we’re going. Just us and no kids. Do you know that my husband and I have never been on a plane together? And our honeymoon suite was the first time we ever spent a night together in a hotel?

I’ve been searching around for Orlando hotels for our trip, and there are many to choose from. We are going to be in Orlando for a conference, but I don’t just want this trip to be just about business. I want it to be fun and exciting also. I want to see Disney, Sea World, and Busch Gardens. I want to see the beach and all the other fun stuff down there. I think it would be great fun to gather up a group of people that are going to be at this conference and rent a really nice vacation home.

This conversation spawned from a post on LifeHacker called GTD Moleskine hacked. GTD = getting things done ( a cult he is into)

The Scene – We are both at our computers next to each other.

Me – “What are you doing over there?”
Michael – “Looking at my capturing device.”
Me – “Eh?”
Michael – “I am developing and processing my Moleskine notebook.”
Me – “Your Moleskine notebook is now a capturing device?”
Michael – “Well yes.”
Me – “And you develop and process it?”
Michael – “Yes woman, what don’t you understand?”

Oh it’s such great joy being married to a programmer. They just think so oddly. I have two Moleskine notebooks. One is my Google Zeitgeist ’05, and the other is my 2007 pocket diary. Both of which I have never referred to as a capturing device, and I never ever develop or process them.

There is a cool social searching web site out there now called Sproose home page where you can interact with the ranking of the search results you get. You can vote on a web site you find and score from 1 being 5 the best. Once you vote you will move the site up in the SERPS. This is kind of a fun way to spoof your own rankings actually. As a registered user you can also create your own index of web sites you like. I actually got some pretty interesting results searching for my blog keywords. I found myself listed on blogs I have never seen.

Well today is a better day. I got all paid up from my job, and the database is all fixed, so I can take a couple days off, per my boss. I got caught up on my car payment, and I’m feeling better today after spending all day in bed yesterday. Michael has been sicker than a dog so I was able to baby him and avert my “sickness” away for awhile by focusing on him. Thanks for all the nice comments and the emails. It’s always nice to know you’re not alone in the world.

Today I need to get out and run some errands. I have to take back JR’s video card, run to the Social Security office, and one other thing that I can’t remember right now. DAMN! Hmmmm, what was it?
