Well PayPerPost is at it again. They just keep surprising me on a daily basis. First they hire Randy Mountz from Myspace as their VP of sales, and now they have acquired Performancing.com. I love the PayPerPost model and I love to make money by blogging about things I normally would anyway.
As seen here in the press release, with the acquisition of Performancing.com comes an additional 28,000 bloggers that are currently in their database. I’m not 100% sure that I agree with this. Getting more bloggers is certainly something they need to do, but my first approach would be getting more advertisers. With tons of advertisers and opps to take, the bloggers will come, by the thousands, on a daily basis.
I’m sure bringing on Randy for this job is going to make a remarkable difference in the types and numbers of advertisers we get. The opps will only get better, and the quality of the products will only get better.
I have never personally used Performancing Metrics, but it is on my list of things to check out today. If PayPerPost thinks it’s a good idea to use it, then I am going to trust them and look into it.
