I took both the boyz back to the doctor today and sure enough they have strep. Now if you remember I took them last week and the strep test came back negative. How did they just develop this? I don’t get it. But they got some strong antibiotics, $20 bucks for each bottle of pills, and hopefully this will kill this germ once and for all. After spending the $60 bucks today I decided I could try to rough it out a little bit longer and go to the doctor next week. Why did we have to get sick at Christmas time? Boo!!!!

Ohh.. I hope the boys get better. It really is a bad time to get sick.. CHRISTMAS!! Whoa.. the medicines do cost a fortune. XD

I hate getting strep throat! Once you get it, you get it easily again if you come around it. Poor things!

Been thru this with my girls……Since you have positive strep results with the boys, call the doctor and tell them you have the same symptoms. They should just call in a script for your meds to whichever pharmacy you use. Try that….it’ll save you the time and expense of an office visit.
Oh, and remember, after 48 hours of antibiotics, replace toothbrushes! Strep can hang around in those bristles and cause re-infections.
I ALWAYS get sick right before Christmas. I think because I am so busy running around like a mad woman, my immune system shuts down. Hope you guys all start feeling better soon.
