So we arrived at the court house and only the two of us could go in. The cameraman was not allowed, but I still had my wireless microphone on so he could hear all the discussion that was going on during the time we were standing in line. I said something to the effect of “Travis is so hot,” and then we laughed when we realized he could hear us. We were also talking about all the other couples in line and how a few of them were from other countries and speaking in languages we couldn’t understand. The lady at the window did comment on how she had never seen so many locals getting their marriage licenses. I guess love is in the air in Las Vegas. We took a quick picture of us standing at the window with goofy ass exciting grins we had on our faces.

After that we headed to the Little White Chapel to get fitted for my dress and our tuxedos, and pick out flowers. We were greeted by the ever so lovely Rose – insert eye roll here – this woman was a piece of work, I’m telling you! She ran a tight ship and nothing was going to change the way she did things no matter how important we were. Geesh! Didn’t she see our own camera crew? LOL! She made all the rules and if anyone broke them I’m sure she would have killed us on the spot.

Mmmm-K so first things first, the bride. She took me into the bridal area and told everyone to stay out! “This is for the bride only!” Britt, Veronique, and Travis stopped dead in their tracks and I said, “No, they have to come in and help me. They have to get this all on film.” She reluctantly let them come in, but she gave Michael and the boyz the look of death. If they even thought about stepping one foot over the carpet into that room she would have surely murdered them. They didn’t want to die, so they stood at the edge of the room and watched.

The first thing Rose did was run her hands up and down the sides of my body, and then she got to work. She pulled out the first dress and told us, “I will show you several dresses, but this is the one that you will pick in the end.” Britt, Veronique and I shared a glance with wide eyes of fear and I went with Rose into the dressing room fearing for my life. I got into the dress, then she took me in front of the mirror as she added accessories to the mix. First gloves, that I knew I wouldn’t wear, then a couple veils and tiaras. She got everything on to finalize the look and hot damn that crazy bitch was right. It was perfect.

I tried on a few other dresses just to see, but none of them looked as good as the first one. I was beginning to worship Rose at this point and now I fully respected her. Even if she was a crazy old lady, she knew what the hell she was doing. She even gave me pointers on taping my boobs up the day of the wedding, “because that’s what all the strippers do,” she told me.

She went on to fit the guys in their tuxedos and I only got pictures of Justin! I was too afraid to take pictures of JR. Nevertheless, here is Justin getting his tuxedo and there is even a shot of Crazy Rose.

Slowly Rose started warming up to us and told us stories of all the famous people that got married at the chapel. The one that impressed me the most was Frank Sinatra and Mia Farrow. At that point it hit me of the incredible history this place had and I was going to marry Michael at the same alter. I had chills up and down my spine. It truly was a rush at that moment.

And I can’t forget to mention Britney Spears infamous 55 hour long marriage that all started at the same chapel. At midnight tonight Michael and I will have surpassed that record. LOL!

When we were all finished up there, I actually had a soft spot in my heart for Rose and I gave her a big hug. We then went downstairs to pick out flowers and I chose Black Magic roses. I had never heard of them, but they were the deepest red color and had the best aroma of all of them.

We then went into the main office to finalize all the paperwork and we got to meet the owner of the chapel, Charlotte Richards. She was the sweetest lady ever. She asked if we had wedding rings and we hadn’t gotten them yet, so she gave us two gold bands to use for the ceremony on the house. It doesn’t match my ring at all, but I am going to wear it of course until we can afford to go buy nicer ones. She took both of our hands in hers and told us all the wonderful things about marriage and how important our vows are to one another. She talked to us about sharing our lives together and being each others bestfriend. She was the one that started the tears flowing in me that seemed to never stop from that point on.
