Has anyone ever attended a consumer focus group? I have heard about them before but never fully understood what they were or how one was to participate in them. I got a call from the Las Vegas Consumers on Saturday asking me to participate in a focus group on Thursday night about Quizno’s delivery service.

Well we ordered Quizno’s delivery the other night and I guess they give out your name and phone number. Not something I remember them asking me if it was okay by the way, but I’m sure it’s in the fine print there on their web site. Reading fine print is not something you do when you are starving.

So yes, for 1.5 hours on Thursday I’m going to go down to their office and talk about my Quizno’s delivery experience. My compensation? $70.00 bucks in cash out the door! w00t! The interesting thing is that our order was wrong. They brought two of the wrong sandwiches and I had to call them to bring back out the right ones. I don’t know about you but being paid $70 bucks to bitch is right up my alley. I may make a career out of this.
