What a morning it’s been around here. I had four client’s breathing down my neck but I managed to get all their needs met, so here I am ready to chit chat.

This Saturday, October 28th is the day to clean up Lake Mead. I read about it in our local Green Valley paper that we get free in our driveway once a week. Apparently this is something the group does 10-12 times a year and we are going to volunteer this time.

It seemed fitting to us after witnessing the pigs that frequent the beach in the summer time. We sat there and watched this family of about 19 people throw crap all over the beach. The parents did it so of course all 17 little pigs followed right behind them doing the same thing. It made us sick. We held our tongues though and waited for them to leave before picking up after them.

The water level of the lake is at an all time low right now, so we should be able to get a lot of trash that has been under water for so long. The program is called National Parks Growing America but I can’t seem to find a web site on them. Hmmmm…I see another client oppourtunity in this as well as a volunteer effort ;)

On this day..

Don’t you hate people like that?

The water level at Lake Travis is really low…about 30 feet low.
