I couldn’t agree with him more, especially about product. I had a client once that had a great site, keyword rich content, tons of traffic to his blog, but he wasn’t selling anything. EVER! Well it took awhile for him to realize that no one really wants to buy plastic toy soldiers. As much as this was his passion it just wasn’t the greatest marketable product on the internet. Only when we stepped back and took a look at his traffic did he realize that the majority of people reading his blog were interested more in his Civil War Reenactment weekends, and the clothing & equipment that went along with it. He has a very successful online store selling just these things now.
