Yesterday marked the 10th year that my mother has been cancer free!

YEAH MOM! That’s a big milestone!

Is today Easter, or is it next weekend? It seems I am losing track of what day it is now that I’m not working outside of the home. We’re planning on going to Sunday Brunch today so I hope it’s not a holiday. I don’t want to wait in the buffet line for 2 hours to eat and I know the boyz certainly won’t go for that!

Now that I sealed a couple contracts and have been busy with work I decided my laptop on the bed wasn’t going to cut it anymore. J.R.’s computer died a few months ago and since I wasn’t using my desktop much anymore I let him have it. It was in the family room on my desk and we just left it there for him. I talked him into moving it up into his bedroom so I could move my laptop and dual monitors out here on my desk. We set up Michael’s desk out here also, so we could be together

I like having my desk back and being out in the family room close to the kitchen J.R. seems to like his computer in his bedroom and since all he does is online gaming I feel confident enough that I don’t need to monitor his online surfing. The bad thing is the wireless router is in the back of the house on the first floor and his bedroom is in the front of the house on the second floor so he’s constantly geting dropped connections during the middle of a game. Michael has a 4289308239482 foot ethernet cable so he ran it through the family room, through the living room, up the stairs, through the loft, and into J.R.’s room. It looks pretty tacky, but until we can come up with an inexpensive solution that is how it’s going to be. We’re not in a financial situation where I can swap out all our cards (5 of them) for new wireless G cards plus the router. Maybe some type of booster would work for us?

I got these pictures for my mom. She has a Jack Russell Terrier and this little guy was on the dock at the marina going nuts over the carp swimming in the water. After awhile he couldn’t stand it so he jumped right in after them. It was the one of the funniest things I have ever seen, and SOOOO cute!
