I’ve always loved the Fiori di Como at the Bellagio Hotel here in Las Vegas.
I would love to have a room in my house like the installation he did in Salt Lake City!
I can just imagine lying underneath all that color and day dreaming about really magnificence grandeur things. There is no way you could lie there and think about the negative energies in your life. You just couldn’t lie there and be unhappy.
It could be like a crack cocaine addiction for the clinically depressed. It could wipe Zoloft off the pharmacy shelves.
I need a Chihuly room.
The living room and music room are done and everything is back in order. I still have a few pictures to hang up though. My red curtains are no longer the right color red so I will be on the hunt again for just the right ones. I’m not sure what color I’m going to get, but I am leaning towards black. We’ll see what World Market has next time I’m there.
You can see the finished project in my Photo Gallery.
Man I hate clubs, but I must say I had a really good time at Studio 54. I chalk it up to the cool people I was with.
It was funny because on Sunday, as we lie in bed thinking we’re too old to party like that, we got to watching a movie about the original club, 54. I will say the time I spent at the Las Vegas location was nothing like the movie. LOL!
Lola met up with us after she got off work and we played the mechanical horse race game until almost 2 AM. We made quite a few new friends and some enemies
Here’s some pictures…ENJOY!
~DAILY NOTE TO SELF~ Stop expecting too much from people.
Tonight is the Zappos.com Holiday Party at Studio 54. I’ve got a busy day ahead of me…hair and nails…and to the mall to find something to wear!
There is nothing like last minute shopping…UGH!
~DAILY NOTE TO SELF~ try to be more prepared from now on.
Okay, I’m almost done with painting
There are a couple little touch up spots, and then I can do the clean up and put the house back together! There are pictures of the steps in the Just Julie Photo Gallery.
Notice the pink coat Averi…it’s the Behr primer
When the boyz first saw the pink they were freaking out. I guess it didn’t help that I told them it was the final color just to tease them.
It seems so much brighter in the pictures than in real life though for some reason.
~DAILY NOTE TO SELF~ I want to try the new Italian restaurant La Collina Cucina Italiana on Horizon Ridge Parkway.
