HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL MY BITCHES!!!

I saw this t shirt at the mall today, and I had to take a picture of it. I think I will go back and buy it. It’s perfect for a friend of ours.

Boise Idaho is one place I have never visited, but I do read a a blogger that lives there and she seems to love it from what she writes. They have a gorgeous house and her pictures of her neighborhood really look warm and inviting. I really like all the trees. Living in the desert I have come to really appreciate the greenery of places, and especially the trees. I long for trees in my yard again. Maybe someday I will have them again.

It seems the Idaho real estate market is just booming due to it’s high ratings for the quality of life it offers. I’ve never really read about the history of Boise until I came across that link. It was settled by the French Canadian which I have a little of in my blood from my Grandfather’s side. I also read that downtown Boise features boutique shopping housed in historic buildings. They also feature art galleries filled with local artist work. Some of those artist feature the history of Boise in their art work. I just love old towns like that. Reading more about Boise has made me add it to one of the places I would like to visit.

No, I’m not talking about me. I’m married now! I’m talking about Kat over at My Single Mom Life. She’s a single mom of two boys and I meet her on the PPP bloggers forum. I liked her immediately because she jumped right in and made herself at home. She’s been great fun to kid around and laugh with. She’s also got a mad addiction to the Sims and she’s Simmin’ it up over there in her virtual life while she got some alone time for a change. She’s got some great screen shots of her character and she’s making me think I need to start Simmin’ again myself.

So the holidays are over and your wallet is starting to feel the pinch of all your spending. I know mine is. I spent far too much money on the boys than I needed to. Maybe now is the time to start looking into secured loans. Michael told me getting a secured loan as opposed to a personal loan is a really good way to build your credit back up after a few slip ups like I have had with credit cards. It will help us so much when we start to look for mortgages loans to buy our condo.

I use to do the various memes around the web, but I haven’t in awhile because I got burnt out on them. I decided to try one out called The Saturday Six. We’ll see how this one goes for awhile.

1. You spot a UFO, a genuine flying saucer. You decide to mention it to those close to you. Do you expect that most would believe you, or assume that you’re either joking or nuts?…I am a very convincing person and everyone would believe me ;)

2. If it had to be one or the other, would you prefer that your blog readers were all family and friends who knew you personally or folks who had never met you in person, and why?…probably family and friends. I like to have new readers, but in the end it’s mainly my friends and family I like the most.

3. Are you planning to do any special posts tomorrow or Monday to look back over either your best posts or the significant events of 2006?…Oh of course! I can’t wait to highlight all the great things that happened to me in 2006.

4. Take the quiz: What kind of jewel are you?

Diamond

Your beauty is both breathtaking and stunning. Your friends could see you everyday and still be enchanted.

5. Do you own a piece of jewelry with this particular jewel in it?…oh yes, my engagement ring I just got last month.

6. Whether you normally make them or not, suppose that you have to make one new year’s resolution: what would it be?…keep on forgiving, and don’t hold resentment.
