It’s 11:43PM and I just got to sit down after coming home from work. I baked 3 pies, a pumpkin pie, a pecan pie, and a peach pie. I also baked a brownie cheesecake. I prepared the blue cheese and port wine log, and it’s setting in the refrigerator. I swigged a few glasses of port during preparation. Shhhhh… Okay it wasnt suppose to be a cheese log, but the consistency was so thick that Michael suggested I form it into a log in wax paper and roll it in walnuts in the morning. That works for me. Plus the port made me want to just go with whatever happened. HAHAHA!

Since we are deep frying our turkey I had a dilemma on how to make gravy. So over the weekend we deep fried a small turkey and I used that to boil tonight for the turkey “drippings. The broth turned out so flavorful and I think its going to be wonderful in the gravy and the stuffing.

Michael finished cleaning the downstairs. (I did the loft and the upstairs bedrooms last Sunday) He cleaned the guest bathroom also. He spent the rest of the evening playing WOW and tasting my spatulas filled with the goodness of our Thanksgiving dinner.

The boyz are in California at their aunt and uncles house with their father, his girlfriend, and two year old daughter. It seems so quiet around the house, but in a way it is nice. This is only Michael and I second time in a year that weve been here without the boyz. We love them to death, but it really is a relaxing kick back evening for a change.

So its Thanksgiving Day now, and I am thankful for many things. I am thankful for the love I have in my life. I am thankful for the wonderful people that I can call friends. I am thankful for my beautiful house that feels so comfortable and wonderfully like home. I am thankful for the higher-ups at my job that have faith in me, and I am thankful for my parents. I am also thankful for the most best ever boyz in the world.

I am most thankful for the freedom I have to be Julie. Being Julie is one of the best ever things in the world. And there are so many factors to mention to be thankful for being, letting, allowing, and appreciating Julie.

So I will just say a HUGE generic THANKS to everyone. Happy Thanksgiving!

On a daily basis I am totally amazed at the love and admiration that is given to me. Not that I don’t think I deserve it, but the fact that I actually have it is the most wonderful feeling in the world.

He is so nonchalant and sincere with his love. That is what makes it so special to me. He just loves me for being me.

He loves me when I’m in my sweat pants, with my hair in a pony tail, cleaning the house.

He loves me when I am dressed to kill and going out on the town with him. His arms are constantly around me as if he is showing me off so proudly.

He loves me when I am lazy and I just want to hang out in the house in my powder blue pajama bottoms, XXXXXL lime green shirt, and purple socks.

And he loves me when I drop him off at work in the morning.

It’s so hard for us to say goodbye. We sit in the car kissing and hugging most mornings not wanting it to end. At some point we decide it’s time to go to work and he walks ever so slowly to the back of the car to get his laptop out of the trunk.

He looks back at me and blows me a kiss.

I honk the horn three times.

Every morning.

Subtle reminders of true love…

I want these Casadei 1868 heels to wear to our companies Christmas parties this year.

Even with the savings of $212.80 I would get with the employee discount I still can’t afford them…sigh. I wish I didn’t have such expensive taste.

Most people that are close to me know that I am addicted to Craigslist. I especially like the Las Vegas page and have the RSS Feed set up on my Sage.

Tonight I decided to post on the Rants and Rave page. It would appear to be fiction, but I promise, it is an absolute TRUE STORY.

While surfing around tonight I found this site. Rip Off Report. I did a search for Henderson/Las Vegas Nevada and found some very useful information.

Try it, and take notes!
