18.5 hours until I will know what is going on. I’m a nervous wreck.

We spent most of the weekend laboring, and crossing things off our “to-do/to-buy” list.

Saturday we spent putting the house back together, as we had a broken pipe and some flooding in the living room. We did notice today that the fix the contractor made may not have actually been a fix, because the carpet feels damp again Michael’s father was in town for the weekend so they went to the Home Depot to get some things that we’ve been needing around here. He also got my paint, California Poppy, that I am going to use on some of the walls in the living room and music room. YEAH! We also hung the Ohm tapestry I bought on EBay in the computer room. I just love it!

Sunday morning Michael’s father, grandmother, and aunt came over. Michael made a fantastic brunch for everyone and we had a good time eating and chatting. The rest of the day I spent doing laundry and cleaning the loft. Michael did odd jobs around the house, like patching some holes in the walls from the boyz throwing crap in the house (grrrr).

Today we cleaned the garage. We emptied boxes I have been moving around for two years now. Half of the stuff went into the Goodwill boxes and the rest we organized and put away in the house. I acually pulled my car into the garage where it belongs! It won’t last long though because we are turning our garage into an art workshop. Michael has a kiln and stuff to make pottery, wood working equipment and tools, metal working equipment and tools, and art supplies. Right now everything is in storage.I can’t wait until we get it all set up so we can start creating stuff and save money on storage! Even though my car will be parked outside again. hehehe

So much for relaxing, we’re too busy for that!
