This may be in bad taste to some, but I really laughed my ass off when I got this in my email tonight!
Thanks Sandy!
I’m soooo glad that is over! I’m home, packed in ice, and still numb, and a little woozy, from the 20cc of Lidocaine they gave me.
The doctor was able to determine that none of the cyst were solid, but all liquid filled, so there was no need for a Core Needle Biopsy, thanks god! I had the much better procedure, Fine Needle Aspiration. She drained four of them, 2 in each breast. She decided to send one of the samples from my left breast to the pathologist, and I should have those results within 3 days. Judging by the color and what I have read on the internet, I’m sure they are nothing more than benign cyst.
I had some discomfort, but nothing that was too overwhelming. Actually I was pretty amazed watching the needle going in and extracting the fluid on the ultrasound screen. Watching them go from these huge masses inside of me, to fluid in several needles on the table was really kind of cool! HA!
Thanks for all the good thoughts and prayers. I know they really helped me.
Twelve hours and counting…ACK!
I hope I can sleep tonight.
My brother Eric and his fiance Lorrie are getting married the day after Thanksgiving back in my hometown of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. We are planning on going back for a week. I really want the boyz to come also, but it may conflict with their father’s schedule as I think it’s his turn to have them this year. I need to gather everyone up and make a plan while the flights are still available and fairly inexpensive.
I have a few places that I absolutely HAVE to go to!
The Amana Colonies, Happy Joes Pizza, and Joensy’s Restaurant for the BEST EVER pork tenderloin sandwich in the world!
