Adrina, Fancy and I went out for a smoke break and this freaking bee just started attacking us. Fancy was running and swinging cardboard at it. Adrina put her jacket hood on and ran all over trying to get it to leave her alone. I just kept moving and trying to blow smoke at it.

Damn annoying bee. I hate you.

*UPDATE* Will killed the bee! YEAH!

Las Vegas has been celebrating it’s Centennial for a couple months now with various events thoughout the city. Our mayor Oscar Goodman is the best mayor ever! He scheduled a free concert as a gift to the citizens of Las Vegas featuring the Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Weezer. It was to be this huge event including free tickets.

After numerous attempts at obtaining these free tickets with no luck, I succumbed to buying scalped tickets off the internet…well almost. Fancy ended up scoring the free tickets from a group of friends that came from Orlando to see the show. Yes, Orlando as in Florida. They got the free tickets but we couldn’t. Go figure.

Regardless we got to go and we had a pretty damn good time, although the RCHP sort of sucked and played all their slow songs. The pictures can be seen here, and the not so great short video clips here.

First Friday is an ongoing arts, entertainment, and social block party held the first Friday of each month in the Las Vegas Arts District.

Michael, Fancy, Danny, Sekeol and I all went down and joined Lisa, Lisa’s sister (I forgot her name), her daughter, and Jennifer to watch our co-worker, Adrina’s (the violinist) band Chemical Ex play. After that we walked around and looked at all the art of course!
